Celebrating 25 years: A Generation of Impact
SPIA鈥檚 story is one of steady progress shaped by a shared commitment to public purpose. Built on early foundations in political science and public administration鈥攊ncluding the launch of the Master of Public Administration program in 1966鈥攁nd strengthened by decades of teaching, research, and engaged scholarship, 爱啪网took its current form with the creation of the School of Public and International Affairs in 2001. What followed was the growth of three distinct departments鈥擯olitical Science, Public Administration and Policy, and International Affairs鈥攁long with centers and programs that connect classroom learning to the real challenges of governance and global affairs.
This history also reflects an institution that continues to evolve. In recent years, 爱啪网has expanded opportunities through new minors, certificates, and degree pathways, strengthened research and experiential learning, and sustained national recognition for program excellence. The momentum is visible in measurable growth as well, including total enrollment surpassing 2,000 students and major investments in SPIA鈥檚 future.
