Academic Advisor I

School of Public & International Affairs

Kathryn has worked with °®Å¾Íøstudents as an academic advisor since 2018. As of May 2021, she also serves as SPIA’s Internship & Recruitment Co-ordinator, overseeing the Emerging Leaders and Experiential Learning Internship Programs, organizing Networking Night, and assisting students to make career connections across public affairs, politics, and government.

Previously, she also held positions as a teaching assistant for the UGA History Department and as the Lucy Hargrett Draper Scholar for Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library while in graduate school. She is a lifelong Georgia Bulldog, having grown up down the road from Athens in Watkinsville, GA. She earned both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in History at UGA. One of her highlights as a student at UGA was the opportunity to research abroad in England at the Bodleian Libraries in Oxford and the Wellcome Library in London.
